Georgia and the Republic of Cyprus have signed agreements of co-operation in various areas

17.04.2019, Tbilisi – Within the framework of President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades’s visit to Georgia, Georgia and Cyprus signed several agreements in the areas of healthcare, medicine, exchange of information, agriculture and environmental protection. 
 
From Georgia the agreements were signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, and from Cyprus – by Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides

Describing as historic Nicos Anastasiades’s visit to Georgia, Zalkaliani said that this visit will bring Georgia-Cyprus relations up to a qualitatively new level. “This is the first visit of the President of Cyprus to Georgia and we attach particular importance to this historic visit. Cyprus is a firm supporter of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its European integration path” – Zalkaliani said.
