Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Georgia, Ms. Marine Narchemashvili, met with Ms. Eleni Apeyitou, Head of the Economic, Climate and Cultural Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed the potential for cooperation between Georgia and Cyprus in the economic and cultural fields and discussed specific initiatives aimed at further promoting sectoral cooperation, strengthening ties between the business communities of the two countries, and enhancing cultural promotion.

The sides also highlighted the close historical ties between Georgia and Cyprus and the strong people-to-people relations between the two countries.
