The Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia, Ms. Marine Narchemashvili, held a meeting with Ms. Aliki Stylianou, Director of the Press and Information Office of the Republic of Cyprus.

The Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia, Ms. Marine Narchemashvili, held a meeting with Ms. Aliki Stylianou, Director of the Press and Information Office of the Republic of Cyprus.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for future cooperation between Georgia and Cyprus. It was noted that the shared Christian heritage and rich history provide a strong foundation for promoting both countries among Georgian and Cypriot societies and for further strengthening people-to-people ties.

The sides also discussed specific initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the historical and cultural ties between Georgia and Cyprus.
