The Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Cyprus invites you to a public lecture:
“Centuries-Old Historical Connections Between Georgia and Cyprus: Results of Archaeological Research Conducted in Cyprus.”
The event is being held within the framework of the European Archaeology Days, in cooperation with the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia and the University of Cyprus.
The public lecture (in English) will be delivered by permanent members of the Georgian archaeologists’ expedition in the Republic of Cyprus, archaeologists of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia: Suliko Kokhreidze and Boris Gelashvili.
The event will take place on Friday, 12 June 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the University of Cyprus (Address: Room 010 “Evi Sofianou”, Social Activities Center, University Campus).
