Marine Narchemashvili, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Georgia to the Republic of Cyprus, hosted at the Embassy the winners of the “Ambassador for a Day” project competition, Yana Grigorita and Elly Philaktous.

Within the framework of the programme, the participants will be actively involved in promoting Georgia in Cyprus and, together with the Embassy, will organize educational events and activities related to Georgia.

The project brings together all embassies in the Republic of Cyprus headed by women diplomats. The initiative aims to support young Cypriot women and provides them with an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into diplomatic work.

During the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. provided the participants with information about the activities of the Embassy, the bilateral relations between Georgia and Cyprus, and the historical ties between the two countries. She expressed her support for the participants and wished them success in their future endeavours.
