An event dedicated to Mother Language Day was held at a Sunday school operating in the Republic of Cyprus.

The school’s students presented educational presentations to the guests on the history of Georgia, the Georgian language, prominent Georgian public figures, Christianity, and the geographical and territorial structure of Georgia.

At the end of the event, the school administration and the Georgian parish presented the students with commemorative certificates and gifts.

The Embassy of Georgia donated to the students specially developed textbooks for Sunday schools operating abroad, as well as educational brochures on the Georgian language.
